Untidy life

I inhabit different worlds

tracing a convoluted trajectory

i leave traces of me

untidily

I've become careless

tying knots without a care

choosing to be unaware

of the kinks I can leave

If life is a tangle of threads

and you can follow but one

what happens at the knots,

the ones you cannot - don't want to - undo?

forgive me

I've been inconsiderate

been selfish

lived an untidy life.
